Interflow, 2017
Project developed to the intervalo_escola residency, at Tupana River, Amazonas, Brazil.
During a residency process of interval_escola, in Tupana river – interfluvium of the Purus and Madeira rivers, in Amazonas – we talked a
lot about the night sky, planets, what was out there, what was down here, and other things to know.
In the talks, I tried to articulate something that could explain what I did – it was the material, the making, seeing things become real; I had wood in my mind, the passage of physical structures to invisible ones.
This way was born the idea of a platform to observe the night sky: a prototype out of 12, in 30 degrees open angle, completing a circle,
a celestial dome to, at the same time, observe the sky and ourselves.
